Achoti (My Sister) - for Women in Israel
was established in 1999 in order to advance Mizrahi (Oriental) feminist ideology, politics, culture and activism in Israel. The organization's general goal is to draw public attention towards socio-economical and cultural struggles of marginalized women in the region. Rooted in the ideological foundations of Mizrahi feminism, Achoti's activities tackle various multi-layered oppressions in Israeli society, focusing specifically on gender discrimination based on ethnic origin, skin color, culture and nationality.

Adva Center
The Adva Center is a think tank that analyzes social and economic trends and measures public policy in Israel against the yardsticks of equality and social justice. Aided by unique databases developed at the Center, Adva is the only non-governmental body in Israel that monitors budget-making in real time, measuring allocations against needs.

The Center for Humanistic Education at the Ghetto Fighters' Museum
The Center for Humanistic Education has been working in connection with the Ghetto Fighters' Museum since 1995, offering a unique approach towards Holocaust education. The Center examines the Holocaust as a historical, Jewish and universal crisis that calls to confront social and human dilemmas and their current manifestations. The Center does this in an educational way that leads towards understanding the importance of democratic values, provides tools for moral judgment and civic responsibility and combats the indifference towards the suffering of others or towards the infringement of human rights that endangers the existence of society at all times.

The Coalition of Women for Peace (CWP)
The Coalition of Women for Peace (CWP) is a leading feminist movement working to end the Israeli occupation in the Palestinian Territories and empower Jewish and Palestinian women in Israel as key actors in the struggle for peace and justice in the Middle East region. CWP was founded in November 2000 and brings together ten women's peace organizations. The work of CWP ranges from campaigning, outreach and political empowerment to investigating the economy of the occupation and supporting international economic-based campaigns.

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Tel Aviv University
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology is a major center of teaching and research on Israeli society, and a leading sociology department in Israel. Currently, the department consists of about 30 faculty members, 40 scholars working towards a Ph.D., 200 M.A. students and 750 undergraduates. The department also provides post-doctoral supervision.

Havatzelet
Havatzelet was founded in 1967 by the Kibbutz movement. The aim of the organization is to support social and cultural projects within Israel as well as to inspire additional activities in the fields of science, sport, culture and art. Havatzelet is responsible for different projects, which operate independently under their own name and administration, gaining a high level of recognition in Israel. Havatzelet is an autonomous executive non-profit association regulated by public law.

HILA – The Israel Committee for Equality in Education
HILA – The Israel Committee for Equality in Education was established in 1987 in order to train and support parents with the aim of integrating them into the pedagogical process as significant and influencing participants and as catalysts for the improvement of academic standards. The main objective of HILA's activities is to decrease socio-economical gaps and increase social mobility by advancing the level of teaching in low income neighborhoods, development towns and Arab villages.The organization works amongst Jews and Arabs, Mizrahim (Jews from Islamic countries),veteran citizens and immigrants from the former Soviet Union and Ethiopia.

Sadaka  Reut:  Arab - Jewish youth partnership
Sadaka Reut works for social and political change in Israel through the promotion of a bi-national, multicultural and egalitarian society based on social justice and solidarity. The organization believes that a struggle should be fought against all forms of discrimination and for complete civil equality within Israel, while a parallel fight against the occupation must be fought in order to bring about a just solution to the conflict. The activities focus on political education and youth activism, aiming to empower youths into becoming active agents for change in the reality of the conflict. The movement facilitates long term encounters between Palestinian and Jewish youth, challenges the existing narratives and discourses concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and encourages joint youth activism initiatives.

The Social Economic Academy (SEA)
The Social Economic Academy (SEA) is a not for profit study institute that aims to promote alternative social economic structures in Israel. It provides lectures and courses to the public at large and to social activists in particular that are conducted by more than 470 volunteer lecturers. The SEA was founded in 2005 with branches in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and Beer Sheva.

TANDI - the Movement of Democratic Women in Israel
TANDI is an Arab-Jewish organization founded in 1948. The movement focuses on Arab women who are citizens of Israel, many from small villages in the northern and central regions. Its main areas of activity are equality for women, children’s rights, peace and democracy. Group activities focus on young Palestinian women with the objective of empowering and educating them about their rights at a significant phase in their lives.
The organization also implements bi-national activities, bringing together Jewish and Palestinian women to get to know one another and work together for the promotion of change in power relations between men and women in both societies. TANDI has extensive experience in empowerment workshops for disadvantaged women through literacy classes, skills training, health instruction, and other programs.
